Policy of charging of bus carriers for usage of bus stops
Abstract
Using bus stops is a crucial element of conducting carriages in passenger transport. Local authorities are allowed to charge for stopping at bus stops and should be allowed to use this tools for creating public transport actively within their boundaries. Administrative courts in general stay opposed to local acts on bus stops charging but variety of reasons are pointed out. The manner of introducing bus stops charging schemes is also in the area of interest of public prosecutors. Article postulates the extension of premises to be taken into account by local governments according to bus stops charging so that the governments could have more possibilities to influence transportation system in their area.
