Development determinants of private equity
Abstract
The market of private equity funds in Poland, compared to Western Europe, is not very extensive, both in terms of the amount and size of investments made by funds, or the level of investments in relation to the state’s GDP. Alternative (financial and non-financial) support options, such as those offered by private equity, are worth considering in the changing reality. Therefore, it also seems justified to analyze the factors that may affect the development of private equity in Poland.
