Abstract
The pension system in Poland does not provide future retirees with a decent pension. One of the options for saving for your future retirement is the third pillar. It was proposed in the form of various types of saving programs. One of these programs is Employee Capital Plans, implemented since 2019. They allow the employee to additionally save for future retirement in cooperation with the employer and the state. The aim of the article is to show employees’ perception of this alternative. The goal was achieved by conducting own research in 2022 and 2023.
